Description

The Keenan Center for Entrepreneurship is seeking an Education director to join the Entrepreneurial Education team to create and deliver best-in-class entrepreneurial training, programming and resources.  As a key member of the Keenan Center for Entrepreneurship, the Education director will work closely with Keenan Center colleagues, colleges, departments and faculty across the University to foster and expand a university-wide entrepreneurial culture and mindset.

This position will focus on creating, tailoring and delivering entrepreneurial programming and resources in a wide variety of modalities and settings to graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, and faculty.  The individual will implement and/or expand programs such as I-Corps, OPEN, and SBIR/STTR training and cover topics such as customer discovery, market validation and assessment, product market fit, intellectual property protection, capital structures, startup funding, and other topics related to entrepreneurship. 

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience; 
  • experience with market analysis, customer validation, and due diligence; 
  • strong customer-service orientation and highest ethics and integrity; 
  • excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; 
  • proven project management capabilities, including managing multiple projects simultaneously with the ability to assist with multiple priorities and meet deadlines; 
  • ability to work effectively both as part of team and independently with a high degree of initiative; 
  • must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Desired Education and Experience

  • Ten years of relevant experience 
  • New Venture creation and operations experience
  • SBIR/STTR funding experience
  • I-Corps training and instruction experience
  • Industry experience in deep tech or life sciences
