Job Description

Experience in measuring ultrafast spectroscopy of solution similar systems to follow energy capture, flow and conversion.

Basic Qualifications
Must be a recent PhD graduate within the last three years.

Additional Required Qualifications

The successful candidate will have experience in the study of semiconductor nanocrystals (synthesis, preparation of films and samples and optical/structural characterization) for solar energy capture and conversion. In addition experience is the fabrication, synthesis, and deposition of thin film solution deposited semiconductor systems and experience with optical, electrical, and structural characterization will be important.

Preferred Qualifications

A doctorate degree in physics, chemistry, materials science, or other relevant discipline.  Relevant education and experience consistent with duties. Hands on experience with laser spectroscopy, device fabrication, and advanced energy concepts is preferred.

Annual Salary Range (based on full-time 40 hours per week)
Job Profile: Postdoctoral Researcher / Annual Salary Range: $69,400 - $114,500

NREL takes into consideration a candidate’s education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees.
