Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

We seek faculty candidates for a tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The successful applicant will be expected to develop a well-funded research program that complements existing areas of strength of the University and the Department, including cancer, aging-related neurodegeneration, structural biology, gene expression and epigenetics, DNA damage and genome stability, bioenergetics, and cytoskeletal architecture. The applicant will also contribute to graduate and medical teaching. The position is state supported with a guaranteed salary base, excellent fringe benefits, and competitive start-up funds. Applicants should have a Ph.D. or equivalent, postdoctoral experience, and a strong publication record. Applicants at the Associate Professor rank should have current extramural research support.
