We are searching for an experienced Assistant Professor/Associate Professor at our Detroit campus location.

Essential Functions (Job Duties):
The Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (EACPHS) at Wayne State University (WSU) is seeking candidates for a 12-month, tenured or tenure-track faculty position in the Pharmacy Practice Department. The candidate is expected to develop an externally funded program in pharmacologic prevention or treatment of human disease or health system outcomes. The candidate is expected to become a core member in the Pharmacy Practice Department with both internal and external collaborations.
The vision of the Pharmacy Practice Department is to lead the integration of education, research and practice through collaboration and innovation. The Department has 31 faculty members including both tenured/tenure-track and clinical faculty. The Department works with a comprehensive network of outstanding WSU and adjunct faculty and community and global researchers
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a health professional degree or Ph.D. and have post graduate research training (e.g.. Pharm.D. with postdoctoral fellowship or additional degree that included extensive research training; M.D. with research residency or postdoctoral fellowship, or additional degree that included extensive research training; Ph.D. with postdoctoral training) .
Highly desirable qualifications include clinical experience and an established record of success in publication, research funding, and leadership commensurate with the candidate’s rank and experience.
