Title: Triploid Walleye Biology and Management - Postdoctoral Fellow Location: Fort Collins, Colorado Full job description: https://jobs.colostate.edu/postings/115723 Full Consideration Application Date: 11/21/2022 Salary Range: $47,000 - $49,920 Position Summary: The Department of Fish, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology expands the frontiers of knowledge through broad-based expertise in applied ecology, quantitative methods, and human dimensions in the conservation and management of fish and wildlife. We teach students to think critically about environmental issues and become ecologically literate citizens with the training to be successful in graduate school and in careers with natural resources agencies, firms, and non-government organizations. Our outreach efforts contribute significantly to life-long learning by assisting individuals and agencies to solve complex environmental problems and to be good stewards of our nation’s natural resources. The postdoctoral fellow will work under the supervision of Drs Brett Johnson and Chris Myrick, and with Dr. Adam Hansen of Colorado Parks and Wildlife to address the project objectives. Qualifications
Required Qualifications: • Ph.D. degree in pertinent field of fish biology, zoology, or ecology by start date of position. • Strong publication record (proportional to career stage) including first-authored papers in fisheries and aquatic sciences-related journals. • Research experience with triploid fish.
