Career and Professional Programs at LaGuardia Community College is seeking a part-time instructor to teach in the Accounting with QuickBooks Certificate Program. The QuickBooks courses are geared towards teaching students to master basic and advanced accounting concepts.

Topics include using QuickBooks software, reporting accounts payable and receivable, invoicing customers, computing the depreciation formula, bank reconciliation, transaction reports, tracking inventory and other topics.

Course Dates:

Accounting with QuickBooks (Part 1)

Tuesdays/Thursdays 2/28/23 – 3/30/23 from 6pm – 9pm

Advanced QuickBooks for Accounting (Part 2)

Tuesdays/Thursdays 4/18/2023-5/18/2023 6pm – 9pm

Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Business, related field)

- 5+ years of relevant QuickBooks experience

- Experience with bank reconciliation, loans, invoicing, insurance payments.

-Teaching Experience Preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $50.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Long Island City, NY 11101: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
