Summary

The Department of Psychology at the University of Michigan invites applications for a postdoctoral research fellowship in cognitive aging and racial/ethnic inequalities in Alzheimer’s disease (AD).

Required Qualifications*

The fellow is expected to have a record of accomplishment in quantitative research, as evidenced by publications, training, and proficiency in statistical analysis (e.g., multilevel modeling, structural equation modeling) and/or structural MRI. The fellow should have a career trajectory within the field of brain and cognitive aging, AD and/or health disparities, as demonstrated by prior research activities and current knowledge. Qualifications include a doctoral degree in psychology, epidemiology, neuroscience, or a related field. Applicants are expected to have met all doctoral requirements before the start of the fellowship.

Additional Information

The position provides salary consistent with current levels for NIH postdoctoral fellows and is fully benefits-eligible.  The appointment is expected to be renewed annually for at least two years, with the possibility of extension.
