Responsibilities*

The Department of Mechanical Engineering seeks a Lecturer to teach ME 566  for Winter Term 2023: January 1, 2023 - April 30, 2023.

Duties include assisting with preparing and delivering lectures (length of lectures depends on credits for the class), preparing and grading homeworks, projects, and exams (as appropriate).

Hours:  9.6 hours per week

NOTE:  This position is only for the winter term 2023.  This is an open position.

Required Qualifications*

A Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or related field, and previous teaching experience at the university level are strongly preferred.

Union Affiliation

This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
