Summary of Position

The University of New Hampshire (UNH) invites applications for a full-time faculty position of Lecturer of Computer Science with focus in Cybersecurity Engineering or related field in the Applied Engineering and Sciences Department at the UNH Manchester campus. This position is a non-tenure track appointment, with a one-year renewable contract to begin the Fall semester 2023. Candidates will be expected to teach a variety of computing courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level in information security, cryptography, penetration testing, network security, software security, cyber warfare, digital / mobile forensics, as well as related courses in computing. A typical course load is three courses per semester.

This position has an anticipated start date of August 2023.

Acceptable Minimum Qualifications

Qualified candidates are expected to have earned at least an M.S. in Computer Science or a related discipline. 

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates who 1) have experience working with college age and non-traditional students; 2) work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students as well as diverse community groups; and 3) demonstrate the ability to teach effectively in a dynamic and innovative learning environment.
