Specific Position Duties
Responsible for oversight of the quality of instructional programs and courses at the College, including coordination with Instruction, Professional Learning Center, and Institutional Effectiveness regarding instructional quality
Encourage and promote the highest quality of instruction at all levels within the institution;
Oversee and supervise the EDUC/PSYC 1300- Learning Frameworks course development and training with lead faculty. Coordinate instructional programming, assessment, and planning associated with the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP);
Coordinates the assessment of the instructional programs and program reviews of the College;
Provide leadership, assistance and encouragement to the faculty in all instructional areas of the College, which includes spearheading the faculty development program;
Assist the Vice President for Instruction in formulating the educational policies of the College along with assembling material to approve content concerning the instructional programs;
Supervises Academic Success Coaches and Director of Instructional Operations and staff
Organizes, manages and facilitates curriculum committee processes and meetings for the college. Coordinates with Vice President for Instruction on the faculty credential and academic calendar processes for the college.
Coordinates and directs instructional reporting to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board for instructional programs on the application and administration of Carl Perkins funds,
Coordinates appropriate compliance to state legislative and/or SASCCOC requirements that impact instruction;
Encourage and promote the highest quality of instruction at all levels within the institution;

Represent the College at community and educational association meetings;
Support the College by regularly participating in various activities and programs involving students, staff and the community;

Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree from a regionally accredited university;
Instructional administration experience;
Understanding of and commitment to the mission of the comprehensive community college;
Classroom instruction experience;
Strong oral and written communication skills;
Demonstrated ability to manage fiscal and personnel resources, to establish priorities and to provide effective leadership and direction; and
Commitment to collaborate with all components of the College to ensure student success.
Instructional administration experience;
