Job Description

Summary

This is a temporary position with an expected 10-12 hours per week for a duration of 6 months with the option to extend up to 12 months.

Responsibilities*

Maintain student records, process curriculum changes, grade changes and waiver requests; Academic Standards Committee minutes/decisions; academic notations on the transcript; process graduation applications and updates.

Enter catalog changes in the student database & catalog software. Verify old student records for accuracy; enter academic information from archived transcripts and enter into student database.

Respond to inquiries from students, faculty and staff as needed. 

Required Qualifications*

Bachelor's degree

2 or more years of relevant professional experience

Work experience in an institution of higher education Registrar's Office

Demonstrated experience with Banner, DegreeWorks, Acalog and ImageNow

Demonstrated knowledge of student record maintenance, academic programs and degree requirements

Desired Qualifications*

Demonstrated problem-solving skills; ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and recognize when a problem needs escalation.

Demonstrated excellent written communication skills.
