ACCESSIBILITY SERVICES COORDINATOR
Full-Time Administrative

The* Accessibility Services Coordinator* at UCC is responsible coordinating services for students with disabilities in compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. The Coordinator will work with the ADA/504 Coordinator, and any applicable groups, to advocate for students with disabilities on campus.

The Accessibility Services Coordinator position is Open Until Filled.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, special education, rehabilitation counseling, or other appropriate fields from an accredited college or university or commensurate experience.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and experience working with individuals from diverse social, economic, ethnic, academic, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Competency with computer software and the ability to use Word-processing, student management software, spreadsheets, and other software as needed.
  • Proven written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong customer service experience.

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in education, special education, rehabilitation counseling, or other appropriate fields from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience advising or working with students with disabilities.
  • Previous community college experience.
  • Knowledge of Trauma-Informed Practice, Appreciative Inquiry, and Motivational Interviewing.
  • Supervision experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,978.00 - $63,216.00 per year
