Full-time, tenure-line instructor beginning August 2022 to teach Health Information Technology courses based on the Jamestown Campus with teaching responsibilities on the Cattaraugus County Campus in Olean, NY. Responsibility for teaching Medical Terminology, Health Data Procedures, Keyboarding/Word Processing and other relevant Health Information Technology or other relevant courses in the Administrative Professional degree program and other business courses, as needed.

Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in health information technology, health information management, health informatics or related healthcare field with an emphasis on health information technology, college and asynchronous (online) teaching experience. Master’s Degree in a related field required for tenure (4 yrs.)
Preferred: Master’s Degree (or higher) in health information technology, health information management, health informatics or related healthcare field; current license or credential for a health care discipline; minimum three years’ experience working in a health care setting; and community college teaching experience.
