Student Worker-Library Circulation Desk
Job Description
The Library Circulation Desk is looking for reliable and dependable student workers to work in a friendly environment at the LCCC & Elyria Public Library System Circulation Desks. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Providing assistance to LCCC & University Partnership students, faculty, staff, and community borrowers
- Assisting the Library Staff with office duties
- Shelving books, cleaning and reading the book collections for the LCCC and EPLS Libraries
- Handling other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications: Must be able to work in a team environment with a positive attitude. Must exhibit a friendly, motivated demeanor and willing to provide excellent customer service. Hours will vary based on student schedule. Must be able to work weekends. Must be currently enrolled in a minimum of 6.0 credit hours and maintain a 2.0 or higher GPA.
Preferred Qualifications: Customer service experience. General computer skills.
