DEPARTMENT: TABLE ROCK

SALARY RANGE: $30,000 - $60,000 

FLSA: NON-EXEMPT


IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Campus President

SCHEDULE DETAILS: Full-time/12 month position/PEERS


 

Position Summary

The Administrative Assistant to the Campus President performs clerical functions for the Campus President with efficiency, dependability and confidentiality. Other major responsibilities include maintenance of the Table Rock Campus social media presence, potential management of part-time employees, and planning student engagement activities.


 

Essential Job Duties

  • Perform various clerical duties for the Campus President.
  • Coordinate room assignments and utilization of space for non-academic events and meetings for the campus.
  • Assist with creation and maintenance of academic schedules.
  • Oversee purchasing and expenditure processes for campus including regular bills.
  • Maintain departmental budget records including; expenditure reports, budget transfers, and travel reimbursement.
  • Update and maintain the Table Rock web page, social media, information channel and bulletin boards.
  • Coordinate with system-level colleagues to plan and enact student engagement events.
  • Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality.
  • Comply with college policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including attending college functions, serving on committees and attending community events.

 

Non-Essential Job Duties

  • Serve as the principal photographer/videographer on campus.
  • Provide prompt, helpful responses to student general inquiries through use of OTC’s Live Chat service.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Associate degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning.
  • Two years of clerical experience at the executive level.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use information technology for professional productivity (such as Microsoft Office Suite).

 

Preferred Knowledge Skills & Abilities

  • Experience utilizing various social media platforms.
  • Four years of clerical experience at the executive level.
  • National Career Readiness Certificate.
  • Experience with Colleague.
  • Experience working within a collegiate setting.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT: (The conditions herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.)

Environment: Work is performed primarily in a standard office setting with frequent interruptions and distractions. Requires extended periods of time viewing computer monitor or standing; may require adjustment of schedule to include some evening and/or weekends; may encounter occasional exposure to inclement weather during travel.

Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard.
