The School of General Education at Vermont Technical College invites applications for Spring 2023 (January 17, 2023 - May 12, 2023).

The course to be taught is PSY 3070 Abnormal Psychology

This course focuses on the symptoms, causes, and treatments of a wide variety of psychological disorders such as mood, personality, somatoform, dissociative, childhood, eating, and sexual disorders; anxiety; schizophrenia; and organic brain syndromes. It explores historical understanding and treatment of abnormal behavior and diagnostic methods used to classify disorders.

3 hours of Lecture per week

Minimum Qualifications: 

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree with several years of relevant experience. Teaching experience is preferred.

Salary: 
Based on credits previously taught per VSC-VSCPTF Bargaining Unit Agreement.
