Full Job Description
Well established, highly profitable CPA firm specializing in the non-profit industry, offers a very reasonable work / life balance, fast track promotions, and above market compensation packages. Staff and Seniors receive paid overtime at time and one half. May either work as a part time contractor with 20-35 hours weekly, or as a permanent employee with 40-45 hours weekly. Relocation and H1 visa transfer assistance are available for exceptional out of town candidates.
We are looking for an experienced, sharp?minded and personable Audit Staff or Senior to join our team. We need someone who is willing to provide outstanding services for our nonprofit clients, and have a passion for the non-profit industry. The ideal candidate must be organized and have superior communication skills.
Duties:
Plan and execute audits in accordance with auditing standards
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and serve as the clients primary contract where
appropriate
Identify issues and make suggestions for improvement
Communicate status of work on a timely basis
Complete assigned projects within engagement timelines
Travel to client assignments as needed
Participate in trainings and firm activities

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Bachelors degree in accounting or related field
- Previous experience in a public accounting firm
- CPA or demonstrated progress towards obtaining CPA
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi?task, prioritize responsibilities and take initiatives on projects
- Exceptional project and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to be flexible
