Postdoctoral Fellow

Georgia Tech

Job Description

This is a postdoctoral fellow position at the EPIC lab at the Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering, Georgia Tech, led by Dr. Aaron Young

The EPIC lab is a multi-disciplinary group of scientists, engineers and clinicians that specialize in enhancing the ‘real-world’ capability of wearable robotic systems. Our group focuses on clinical translation of best-in-class control systems for lower-limb prostheses and exoskeletons to improve mobility for individuals with stroke, TBI, or limb amputation. By leveraging AI and ML tools we focus on customizing assistance to each individual user across broad, real-world use cases.

The lab is located in the heart of Georgia Tech’s main campus in midtown Atlanta and has a large facility for collecting advanced biomechanical and clinical outcome measures and collaborates closely with clinical partners at Emory, Children’s Hospital of Atlanta and the VA System.
