The part-time Librarian will enthusiastically provide high quality services to enrich our campus community and demonstrate a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment. This position reports to Director of Library Services.

Provide in-person and online reference services to students, faculty, staff and community members

Conduct information literacy instructions in a variety of modalities

Create and maintain online instructional resources

Participate in print and electronic collection development responsibilities

Provide basic technology assistance to library users and work collaboratively with other librarians and library staff in the use of library hardware and software applications, including contributing content to the library website.

Perform other duties and complete projects as assigned by the Director of Library Services

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

Master’s degree in Library Science from an American Library Association accredited institution required (will consider candidates close to graduation).

Library instruction or teaching experience preferred.

Aptitude and a willingness to learn new technologies preferred.

Familiarity with learning management systems, LibGuides and/or video creation software desirable preferred.
