The University of Notre Dame seeks an Advisor to the Vice President for Information Technologies / Chief Information Officer (CIO) in the Office of Information Technologies (OIT). The ideal candidate will bring energy and expertise in coordinating with a variety of constituent groups, as well as a process orientation that helps orchestrate priority events and projects for the CIO.

This position requires a high level of independent judgment, discretion and initiative, the ability to communicate clearly on behalf of the Vice President in writing and in the creation of presentations, OIT-wide messages and agendas, as well as a high degree of project/organizational management and analytical skills.
This position is primarily responsible for advising, assisting and supporting the Vice President of Information Technology on all aspects of the OIT’s administrative operations, serving as first-level executive support for the Senior Leadership of the OIT including travel planning & expense reports. Responsibilities also include coordinating with individuals across the University to organize and arrange meetings, schedule events and proactively plan agendas and meeting cadences, and leading the efficient and transparent operation of the Vice President’s Office. The successful candidate must exhibit a positive and professional attitude at all times, be adaptable and flexible as priorities change and have outstanding organizational skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with the Google suite or comparable productivity and scheduling software
- Experience with travel planning
- Experience with event planning
- Experience managing calendars and prioritizing competing demands
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience in Higher Ed, or at the University of Notre Dame
- Experience with procurement systems
