Overview

Working in partnership with administrative and clinical colleagues across NPCS, the program administrator is responsible for providing administrative leadership, project management and coordination of several programs within NPCS. This position requires a high level of expertise with all administrative duties, project management fundamentals, and the ability to provide leadership in planning, implementing, executing, and evaluating overall program goals. He/she uses independent judgment in decision-making and has strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

  • In partnership with clinical colleagues, serves as an administrative leader for programs, initiatives and projects that support NPCS operations.
  • Designs, implements, and evaluates workflows that support program operations, initiatives, goals, and strategic management.
  • Develops, maintains, and manages standard operating procedures associated with varied programs, projects, and events.
  • Leads execution of deliverables associated with assigned programs, including leading program planning, project management, engaging with stakeholders, program logistics, and evaluation.
  • Continuously evaluates program operations for improvement opportunities and may lead process improvement efforts.
  • Provides analysis and reporting on department programs and initiatives. Develops graphs, reports, and presentations that translate data into digestible, informative content.
  • Staffs committees, workgroups, and taskforces; tracks action items, develops agendas and meeting minutes.
  • Purchases program supplies and monitors program budgets in collaboration with program leaders.
  • May develop programmatic communications plans and materials such as flyers, newsletters, intranet and website content.
  • May develop programmatic training content such as reference guides, FAQs, and instructional videos.
  • May work on special assignments, events, and projects as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years relevant experience. Experience working in a medical or academic setting is preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Visio.
  • Experience with Google, Microsoft Forms, and Survey Monkey preferred.
  • Experience with program planning and project coordination/management.
  • Experience and comfortability in manipulating and analyzing data.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technology.
