Position Summary

Provides cleaning and portering services throughout the University complex.

Essential Functions

• Provides cleaning and portering services in both academic & residential University buildings.
• Removes recyclables and trash in accordance with University procedures.
• Delivers mail in the buildings.
• Rearranges furniture and performs small move jobs when requested.
• Keeps building entrances and perimeters free of leaves, garbage, etc. as the need arises.
• Must sign in and out for all keys.
• Other duties as required.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six (6) months to one (1) year prior cleaning experience.
• Must be able to read English and follow written instructions.
• Must have knowledge of general cleaning techniques and preventative maintenance: including standard use of power washers, standup vacuums & backpack vacuums
• Successful candidates should have a knowledge of and commitment to the goals of Jesuit Education.

Minimum Biweekly Salary for Internal Applicants with 3 or more years of service: $1,054.32

Maximum Biweekly Salary for Internal Applicants with 3 or more years of service: $1,054.32

Minimum Biweekly Salary for New Employees: $843.60

Maximum Biweekly Salary for New Employees: $843.60

Saturday & Sunday

6:00 am – 2:30 pm

Monday

7:00 pm – 11:00 pm
