Required Education and Experience:
- Appropriate doctoral degree
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong research background including first-author publication(s) or preprint(s)
- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Phd in neuroscience, biology, or a related field
- Prior experience working with rodents
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Expertise in systems neuroscience, circadian biology, and/or programming
Responsibilities:
- Executing research experiments and analyzing results
- Maintaining an accurate laboratory notebook, writing manuscripts, presenting findings, and contributing to grant proposals.
- Training new personnel on lab procedures.
- General laboratory duties such as purchasing supplies, animal colony maintenance, research equipment maintenance, maintaining a safe working environment
- Performs other duties as assigned
