About us

*Pundarika Foundation is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to plan, execute, and evaluate programs and projects designed to promote member engagement with the foundation (**pundarika.org* *or tsoknyirinpoche.org) and online learning site (**fullybeing.org**).* *Successful candidates will possess/ the knowledge and skills to perform the duties listed below. The position reports to the Executive Director and works collaboratively with foundation staff and volunteers.* *1. Manage Engagement of a Membership Program* * Coordinates and manages social media accounts across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. * Advises Director about social media channels that can be leveraged to deliver services such as Twitter and Instagram Story Q&As, Facebook Live broadcasts, Facebook chats, polling tools provided by various platforms, etc. * Ensures messaging is cohesive and maintains brand integrity * Assist with proactive media relations activities * Updates internal communication platforms as necessary with program and organizational content, announcements, etc. * Provides data about social media use to Director for use in reports * Ability to create or update content/graphics with appropriate software is a plus * Meets defined individual and department goals, activity metrics and Key Performance Indicators * Other duties as assigned *2. Email, Web and Social Media* Manages outreach and engagement with existing membership audience, and new audiences Posts new content on a Wordpress website (Pundarika.org) and Facebook page. Composes email newsletters, keeps subscriber lists updated for a membership audience (using Mailchimp) Develops and implements an email and social media outreach strategy to maximize service delivery Writes and posts content to social media platforms and ensures content and copy are proofed with a high attention to detail Uses web and online analytic platforms to analyze, review and report on effectiveness of online and social media engagement Monitors trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy as it relates to the CCP Pundarika Program Assists with digital video/audio content creation Ability to create or update content/graphics with appropriate software is a plus Maintains photo library. Performs periodic checks on content of website, links, etc. *3. Manage Promotions and Paid Advertising Platforms* * Promote membership to new audiences on social media platforms and search engines * Create paid advertising campaigns on Facebook and Google 4. *Printed Materials* Creates and updates brochures, cards and other printed materials. *Education/Experience/License/Certification* * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in journalism, public relations, communication, or related field required * Two (2+) years of experience working in communication, marketing, public relations, public health or other related field required * Previous experience executing across several communications platforms *Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: * * Working knowledge of SEO/SEM, social media marketing, email marketing (Mailchimp), Wordpress website management (Wordpress), Google Analytics and ads, Facebook ads, and other digital media marketing tactics * Experience with content creation and curation, understanding of audio & video editing, content file formats and ability to resolve format incompatibilities preferred * Advanced knowledge of correct English language, grammar, spelling punctuation, and vocabulary * Ability to works collaboratively with staff and volunteers * Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment * Excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills * Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail * Ability to work independently * Advanced computer skills including use of Google and Microsoft products and the ability to learn new tools as needed *Working Environment* * Work at home; online.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
