Part Time Accountant II
Job Description
- Class Description
The purpose of this class is to provide accounting support for the College in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and federal, state and local guidelines.
- Minimum Requirements
Associate's Degree and five (5) years of related experience required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office applications with a level of intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Experience working in higher education and with Banner software or other ERP system preferred.
- Class Specific Essential Duties
- Monitor, audit and reconcile accounts.
- Analyze data and prepare adjusting entries.
- Prepare budget transactions and budget transfers.
- Prepare accounting schedules and reports for management and for external auditors and agencies.
- Assist with the oversight of contracts and grants.
- Prepare accounting schedules and reports for grants and contracts
- Assist with the department with other duties as assigned.
