Posting Summary
Develop and implement programming that will ensure Grossman School of Business (GSB) students and alumni have broad exposure to potential job opportunities, both within and outside of Vermont. Provide outreach with the primary responsibility of building relationships with employers and alumni to increase engagement and enhance career opportunities for Grossman School of Business students. Develop, coordinate, and implement professional development opportunities in PEAKS for students to engage in experiential learning, including workshops, panels, and guest speakers. Act as career advisor, assisting with resume, cover letter, and career guidance. Collaborate with GSB Grad Programs Career Advisor, UVM Career Center and other constituencies to ensure coordination of services including career database systems.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree in a business administration, counseling, higher education or other related field and two to four years’ related experience required. Demonstrated experience building and maintaining relationships across organizations. Experience advising, mentoring, or coaching in a personal or professional capacity. Proficient in database and word-processing applications to include editing and proofreading skills required. Effective organizational, communication, team collaboration, and interpersonal skills with attention to detail required. Demonstrated multicultural competence and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.

Desirable Qualifications
Experience with recruiting and hiring processes desired. Experience organizing and implementing workshops, events, and/or seminars highly desired.

Bargaining unit position, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, Occasional overtime/weekend hours required, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees
