The Mario J. Gabelli School of Business at Roger Williams University, Bristol RI, invites applications for a tenure-track position in management at the assistant or associate professor level beginning January or August 2023. Responsibilities include teaching operations management as well as related courses, including data analytics and supply chain at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The individual hired will be expected to provide excellence in teaching, advise students, and maintain a high level of professional activity through quality research and service. Faculty rank at time of hire will coincide with applicant's experience and credentials.

Job Requirements:

Candidates should have an established record or demonstrated strong potential for high quality, innovative teaching and research, including publishing in appropriate, quality peer-reviewed journals. Minimum requirements include a Ph.D. or D.B.A. in business administration from an AACSB accredited institution, with a specialization in operations management; management science; data analytics or another highly relevant field of study such as supply chain. Candidates who are ABD will be considered, but the doctoral degree must be in hand by the time appointment begins. Industry experience is a plus as is interest in interdisciplinary studies such as "blue economy".

At the University's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be excepted where the candidate can demonstrate, to the satisfaction of the University, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
