Summary of Job Duties:
Collaborating closely with Dr. William Richardson and students in our group, the Post-Doctoral Research Associate will help develop and apply new computational approaches to infer cell regulatory networks from spatial expression data. In addition, this position will be expected to present research findings through publications and conference presentations.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Mathematical Biology, or a related field
- Proficiency in computational work (e.g. Python, R, MATLAB, etc.)
- Willingness to travel
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated excellence in previous research, supported by scientific publications
- Experience with regulatory networks, -omics analyses, agent-based modeling
