Dr. Hunmin Jung’s Structure-Guided Drug Development Laboratory at the University of Connecticut invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position starting immediately (negotiable). The position is located in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the School of Pharmacy (Storrs Campus) (https://pharmsci.uconn.edu/).

The successful candidate will execute basic research structure-based research utilizing x-ray crystallography, biochemical/biophysical enzyme assay, and cell/molecular biology (https://jung.lab.uconn.edu). The candidate will work closely with Dr. Hunmin Jung (Assistant Professor in Pharmaceutical Sciences) as well as graduate students and technicians in the group, and will be involved in collaborative work with different research laboratories on UConn Storrs campus. The appointment will be for 1 year with the possibility of extension for 1 more year.

Candidates must have a PhD (within the last five years) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Cell/molecular Biology, or a related field. Candidates with a track record of scientific publications related to structural biology and cell/molecular biology are strongly encouraged to apply.
