Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
This position is responsible for the support of all programs, such as MBA and Specialty Masters programs, at the Rockville campus location at the Universities at Shady Grove and the Online MBA program. This includes student, staff and facility support. This position will be the lead support of the Rockville Flex MBA program and manage the day-to-day facilities tasks related to evening classes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelors degree required.
Experience
- 1+ years progressive related professional experience.
- 1+ years experience coordinating events, conferences, or management training programs.
- Experience working in higher education, ideally with a graduate business school.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Friendly, flexible, service-oriented manner; must have exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Advanced computer skills and attention to detail; strong customer service skills; must have strong oral and written communication skills.
- Able to communicate effectively with faculty, corporate clients, executives and staff; able to respond positively under pressure and workload; able to work in a highly independent manner at times across functions within the school.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Able to integrate ideas and concepts; able to manage multiple projects; able to troubleshoot and problem solve.
Must be able to travel to College Park, Baltimore, Shady Grove, and Washington, DC campuses. Regular evening hours and occasional weekend hours are required.
