Program Manager, Strategy, Planning & Management, Philanthropic Partnerships

Job Description

Program Manager, Strategy, Planning & Management, Philanthropic Partnerships

The Foundation

We are the largest nonprofit fighting poverty, disease, and inequity around the world. Founded on a simple premise: that people everywhere, regardless of identity or circumstances, should have the chance to live healthy, productive lives. By building a global and cultural workplace that supports greater diversity, equity, and inclusion — of voices, ideas, and approaches — together with our employees and partners, we can help all people improve their lives from poverty and health to education. As an organization we offer full healthcare premiums coverage, generous paid time off, contribution to your retirement fund, several employee communities, and a commitment to embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion into everything we do.

The Team

The Philanthropic Partnerships Team’s (PPT) mission is to inspire and enable more informed and intentional generosity to improve outcomes globally. Research has shown that generosity is a universal human impulse, but there is nothing natural about giving at scale or ensuring that philanthropic resources are channeled where they are needed most. PPT's strategy aims to close intent-to-action gaps and to increase giving that advances equity.

We believe that when people have the right inspiration, information, and innovation their giving can advance equity and accelerate the pace of positive change in the world. PPT serves as a resource to those who want to achieve more with their giving and invests in organizations that help donors overcome common obstacles. Our team seeks to enhance and enable generosity at all wealth levels and in multiple regions around the globe. We support programs that provide donors with resources to make informed decisions about giving, encourage innovations and policies that enable philanthropy, and support cultural norms around generosity.

Our mission includes a commitment to advance equity around the world. We care deeply about how your experiences have shaped your understanding of philanthropy and advancing equity, and how they can help us achieve our mission. In applying for this role, we encourage you to think about the breadth and depth of your resume and add any information that would help us understand your personal and professional experiences related to our mission. This includes direct work in advocacy and community organization, social work, public policy, justice, or lived experience and/or education in any of these areas.
