Full Job Description

¨ Assure that the organization has a long-range strategy.

¨ Responsible for the organization’s consistent achievement of its mission and financial objectives.

¨ Works with the CFO and accounting on reviewing financial statements, budgeting, and cash flow.

¨ Ensure that adequate funds are available to permit the organization to carry out its work.

¨ Responsible for working directly with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.

¨ Be a member of the ASPIN Board.

¨ Communicate with Board of Directors on the condition of the organization.

¨ Establish sound working relationships and cooperative arrangements with community groups and organizations.

¨ Provides leadership in developing program, organizational, and financial plans.

¨ Provides oversight to staff that maintain official records and documents, and assure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

¨ Maintain a working knowledge of significant developments and trends in the field and community.

¨ Maintain a climate which attracts, keeps, and motivates a diverse staff of top quality people.

¨ Supervise staff: carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the agency’s policies and applicable laws; interview, hire, and train new employees, plan, assign and coordinate work; conduct performance reviews; praise and discipline, address and solve complaints.

¨ Maintain professional conduct.

¨ Treat persons served with dignity, respect and free from: abuse, neglect and exploitation.

¨ Report suspected or observed abuse, neglect, and/or exploitation.

¨ Complete all required paperwork/computer work/records accurately and in a timely manner.

¨ Report to work as scheduled.

¨ Other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Weekend availability

Application Question(s):

  • Master’s Degree in Health Care Management, Counseling, Social Work, or Business and/or 7 – 10 years experience working in a non-profit, with experience in addictions/mental health.
