Job Summary:
The focus of this position will be to teach lower-level finance classes (face-to-face and online), specifically, Managerial Finance, and other finance related courses to adequately provide a good foundation in finance, and to prepare students for many other classes within the department and the College of Business. This position will teach four classes each fall and spring with a possible teaching assignment in the summer. This position will also serve on departmental, college and university committees. This Instructor will maintain his/her professional affiliations and contribute to professional activities. This position will mentor students and provide advice on professional endeavors.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree from an AACSB-accredited institution in Finance or a closely related field including at least 18 graduate semester hours in Finance, coupled with pertinent work experience and continuing professional development and engagement activities to maintain qualifications for performing teaching assignment. Must meet the College of Business Policies on Faculty Qualification for an Instructor position.

Preferred Qualifications
A doctoral degree in Finance from an AACSB-accredited institution or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Finance is a definite plus. Regardless of the degree, it must be coupled with pertinent work experience and continuing professional development and engagement activities to maintain qualifications for performing the teaching assignment and the candidate must meet the College of Business Policies on Faculty Qualifications for an Instructor position. Preferred candidates will also have relevant teaching experience which includes proven effectiveness in online course development and teaching, professional experience, and professional certification. In addition to a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and service, the successful candidate will also have potential or demonstrated contributions to a climate of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
