Adjunct Faculty must be committed to using modern technology in the classroom.
OCC is seeking Adjunct faculty for the following areas and disciplines:
Accounting
- Master's degree in Accounting or Bachelor's degree in Accounting with an unexpired CPA license
Biology
- Master's degree in Biology
Business
- Master's degree in Business
Computer Information Systems
- Master's degree in Computer Information Systems OR
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems and 5 years OR
- Associate's degree in Computer Information Systems and 8 years
Psychology
- Master's degree in Psychology
English
- Master's degree in English
Economics
- Master's degree in Economics
Health/Nutrition
- Master's degree in Health, Science, or Nutrition OR
- Bachelor's degree Health, Science, or Nutrition and 5 years OR
- Associate's degree Health, Science, or Nutrition and 8 years
Dental Hygiene
- Master's degree in Dental Hygiene or related field OR
- Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene working toward a Master's degree
Nursing
- Master's degree in Nursing OR
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Spanish
- Master's degree in Spanish
These adjunct faculty positions will begin January 9, 2023.
Adjunct faculty's approved teaching load must be less than 12 instructional credit hours per semester

- Experience with multi-cultural students and staff preferred
- Ability to work as a team player in a multi-cultural working environment
- Online teaching experience preferred
Under the Department/Disciplines direction, an adjunct will be expected to teach undergraduate courses on a part-time basis.
Current resume and unofficial transcripts for all relevant degrees earned in the subject matter related to the courses being taught. Transcripts must reflect date degree conferred.
If hired, official transcripts will be required.
