As the Enrollment Manager for Apprenticeship Programs, you will be responsible for being a key member of the Enrollment Services team that helps students register for class in order to complete their educational goals. Under the supervision of the Dean of Student Achievement, you will work closely with the Georgetown Executive Dean and Associate Dean, and be responsible for managing and coordinating enrollment for South's various apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs. This position will split time between the Georgetown Campus and West Seattle Campus.

Compensation for this position is: $64,000-$72,000/year (depending on experience)

This position is governed by a collective bargaining agreement with representation by AFT-SPS.

What you will be working on:

  • Advise prospective and current students, faculty, and staff of the policies and procedures related to the essential enrollment and student services functions and operations including college admissions requirements, enrollment processes, program and degree requirements, academic planning and payment deadlines.

  • Maintain a working knowledge of the wide range of student service areas and functions, including, but not limited to: admission, advising, financial aid, testing, cashiering, and disability services, and provide references to these services.

  • Work directly with all apprentice program directors and coordinators to ensure timely and accurate student course registration, payment and grade submission each quarter.

  • In collaboration with Asst. Registrar support batch enrollment needs for various programs

  • Work directly with pre-apprenticeship and workforce education staff to ensure timely and accurate student course registration, payment and grade submission each quarter

  • Work closely with course builders to ensure that tuition is calculating correctly for each apprenticeship class, and apply appropriate waivers to each student prior to registration

  • Provide registration and enrollment functions, and train others, using the ctcLink student information management system and innovate and evolve service practices regularly.

  • Run and review ctcLink queries for enrollment tracking to monitor and report on Georgetown students, programs, and activities.

  • Work closely with Dean of Enrollment Services and Assistant Registrar to oversee the planning and execution of the enrollment services production calendar and develop/refine related business processes

  • Provide back up support to the Assistant Registrar for sick and vacation times, as it will be provided for this position by the Assistant Registrar.

  • Ensure excellent service delivery for all enrollment & registration functions and operations at Georgetown.

  • Act as liaison between main campus services and the Georgetown campus community.

  • Maintain and develop new role documentation for the evolving responsibilities covered by this position.

  • Serve as a member of workgroups and committees as directed by either the Georgetown Executive Dean or Dean of Enrollment Services.

What you bring as a candidate:
 (Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience)

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent related experience

  • Two or more years' successful experience in an education setting providing direct service to students

  • Excellent project and partner management skills

  • Effective at working independently and exercising sound judgment

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines while being attentive to detail

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT and information management systems

  • Demonstrated experience working effectively with persons from diverse backgrounds, such as racial, ethnic, religious, gender, sexual orientation, age, socio-economic, and diverse physical and learning disabilities Highly motivated, flexible, self-starter

  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

 


Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform range of physical motions, exerting up to 25 pounds; lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds; standing, walking, sitting for long periods of time, kneeling, squatting, and stooping; and traversing up and down stairs.
