Job Description:

The postdoc will work on materials science research utilizing electron microscopy of atomic structure and defects in semiconductors and novel interfaces. The postdoc will conduct experiments in the Center for Electron Microscopy and Analysis (CEMAS) at OSU, and data analysis using various computational resources to support the experimental results. The postdoc will involve in the activities in the Center for Emergent Materials (CEM), an NSF-funded MRSEC at OSU, collaborating with other researchers at the center for scientific research, as well as engaging in the education and outreach activities led by the center. The postdoc will be also expected to publish the results from research in academic journals, and also participate in preparation of new research proposals led by the PI. The postdoc will also provide and guidance to graduate students, for example by teaching them experimental and simulation methods necessary to conduct their research.

Required Experience:

2 Years of experience in Transmission electron microscopy; 1 year of experience in Focused Ion Beam.

Desired Experience:

6 months of experience in Machine learning algorithm; 6 months of experience in Computational simulation.
