Postdoctoral Positions in Big Data Biology of Aging

Job Description

The Beck Laboratory at the Boston University School of Medicine is actively seeking highly motivated postdoctoral researchers with the experience/interest either 1) in genomics/computational biology or 2) in mammalian aging research. Candidates with experiences either in 1) NGS data analysis in Linux environment or 2) mouse aging research are particularly encouraged to apply.  This is a full-time position with competitive salary support and benefits.  Our research focuses on understanding the biological mechanisms underlying gene regulation at the transcriptional level and how the dysregulation of gene expression is associated with human aging and diseases. Successful trainees are expected to become interdisciplinary biologists with expertise in genomic data analysis utilizing Big Data analytics and experimental validation to address critical biological questions with significant human health implications. Motivation to learn/develop new skill sets is critically required.
