Position Summary | The Department of Physics at William & Mary, a public university of the Commonwealth of Virginia, invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position. We seek to fill the position at the latest by September 10, 2023. We seek an individual with expertise in Theoretical Hadronic Physics and Lattice QCD to join the Nuclear Theory Group. The group, which currently consists of three faculty members as well as several postdoctoral fellows and graduate students, maintains a close relationship with the Jefferson Lab Theory Center. The initial appointment is for two years, and may be extended further subject to performance and funding availability. |
Required Qualifications | A Ph.D., in theoretical nuclear or particle physics, is required at the time appointment begins. |
Preferred Qualifications | Expertise in theoretical studies of hadronic structure and experience using lattice QCD. |
Conditions of Employment | The initial appointment is for two years, and may be extended further subject to performance and funding availability. |
