Glimpse into the Job:
The purpose of this position is to fill a critical void on our coastal studies team by providing essential expertise. The postdoctoral associate will conduct research on climate-driven ecological changes and restoration in wetlands of coastal Texas.
How You Will Contribute:
Fieldwork in wetlands
Processing samples in the laboratory
Development and initiation of experiments
Data analyses
Preparation of proposals and manuscripts
What You Will Need
Doctoral degree in ecology and/or biogeochemistry.
Experience doing fieldwork in wetland ecosystems.
Proficiency in statistics.
What They Would Like to See
Experience with R programming, GIS, experimental design
Identification of plants
