Job Summary

SLCC’s Orientation & Student Success department supports this mission by preparing new students to thrive in higher education.
Under close supervision, the Orientation and Transition Coordinator will work collaboratively to implement new student orientations (both in-person and online), welcome week activities, strengthen relationships with community partners in neighboring school districts to create a college-going pipeline, and create tutorials aimed at helping new students navigate the registration process and other aspects of higher education. As a member of the OSS team, this coordinator will develop leadership and professional skills while employed, and benefit from being part of a caring team environment that fosters growth.
