The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy is seeking candidates for a Tenure Stream/Tenured position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. The ideal candidate will have research experience in the areas of chemical biology, biochemical pharmacology, pharmaceutics, or medicinal chemistry with the potential for translational applications. Priority will be given to candidates with expertise in proteomics and/or post-translational protein modifications in the context of diseases. Candidates should have a Ph.D., MD, PharmD, or equivalent with postdoctoral training experience with a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field. 

The successful applicant is expected to establish and lead an independent laboratory, which will be sustained by extramural funding. In addition to research, applicants are also expected to teach in the graduate and professional degree programs of the School of Pharmacy.
