POST DOCTORAL ASSOCIATE

THEORETICAL NUCLEAR ASTROPHYSICS

UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE

The Theoretical Nuclear Physics Group at the University of Tennessee is seeking candidates for a postdoctoral position in Theoretical Nuclear Astrophysics to begin in the spring of 2023.  The ideal candidate will have experience in either (i) neutrino interactions in dense matter, (ii) nuclear physics aspects of neutron stars, supernovae, and neutron star mergers, (iii) r-process nucleosynthesis or (iv) nuclear structure theory; and will have completed their Ph.D. no later than April 1, 2023.
