Department of Veterinary Biosciences in the College of Veterinary Medicine at the Ohio State University is seeking a Post Doctoral Scholar to join Dr. Haichang Li's laboratory to study protein-protein interaction and signal pathway in lung cancer and aging-related diseases.

Post Doctoral Scholar will pursue specialized research training and experience under the guidance of Principal Investigator (PI); conduct research to explore the macular and cellular mechanism of tumor growth and tumor metastasis; develop, adopt, and implement new laboratory methods to achieve characterization of the genetic basis of human cancers; identify novel genes and examine their role in cancer development; study protein expression, gene cloning and mutation detection; draft and prepare research papers and manuscripts for publication and presentation at national and conferences and workshops, and in the writing of project reports, articles and other documents; assist PI in the preparation of proposals to obtain new or renewal of extramural funding in support of research;  participate in analyzing data for reports for the purpose of grants submissions; train staff in molecular biology techniques; provide updates to PI on progress of research, train students/visiting scholars in the laboratory; perform additional duties as assigned.
