Position Title
Adjunct Instructor - Political Science/American Federal Government
Job Duties
Job responsibilities include preparing and teaching basic Political Science/Government courses for general education. The instructor would collaborate with the Political Science faculty and the Faculty Development Team as needed to ensure continued success. This is a part-time faculty position and the instructor could teach from one to three classes. Continued adjunct teaching is a possibility beyond the Fall term. Butler uses electronic grade books and other forms of mediated communication. Free training is offered and required.

Qualifications
Required knowledge and skills
Teaching experience is preferred.
Required experience
Masters Degree and 18 graduate hours in Political Science.
Required educational background
The successful candidate should have a master’s degree in Political Science or a related communication discipline.
