This full-time faculty position is on-campus and in-person.

Texas Christian University is hiring for the position of Instructor in Management in the Neeley School of Business. The successful candidate will begin employment in August 2023.

The primary duty for this position will be to teach the course “Business in Society.” This is a lower division core course targeted at first year or transfer students seeking a business major. This course provides a cross-disciplinary introduction to business and helps students begin developing necessary skills for upper division business courses and careers in business. Responsibilities will include working with the course coordinator, instruction following an approved curriculum, grading, and informal course-related student advising. The overall teaching load will be four 3-credit hour courses per semester (i.e., fall and spring). However, additional courses could be assigned in lieu of Business in Society per department needs and the successful candidate’s area of expertise. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications.

Candidates for the position should possess (or expect completion by August 2023) an earned master’s degree or doctorate degree in business management or a closely related discipline (e.g., educational leadership). Preference will be given to candidates who provide evidence of excellence in teaching at the college level and who have professional experience in a business-related field.

The TCU Neeley School of Business is comprised of six academic departments including Accounting, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Information Systems and Supply Chain Management, Management and Leadership, Marketing, and Finance. The TCU Neeley School of Business has an annual enrollment of 3,248 (2021-2022) undergraduate and graduate students, 215 employees and 24,595 alumni. The Neeley School is proud to be fully accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) for our undergraduate and graduate programs. In addition, our Accounting department is among an elite number (less than 200) accredited by AACSB.

TCU Neeley has been nationally ranked in several outlets, including 19th by Poets and Quants in their recent rankings of Best Undergraduate Business Programs.
