Job Summary:
Are you looking for new ways to enhance the learning experience for students? Do you get excited about helping others reach their full potential? If so, KVCC may have the perfect teaching opportunity for you.

Kalamazoo Valley is currently seeking part-time instructors for our collaborative and innovative Sustainable Brewing program that is focused on brewing science, technology, and environmental sustainability automation.

Instructors are needed for the following courses:
BREW 130 Brewing Ingredients
BREW 151 Biochemistry of Brewing
BREW 160 Styles Sensory & Food Pairing
BREW 200 Taproom Management & Service

Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant employment experience in the brewing industry is required. Candidates for this position should also possess a Bachelor’s degree in a field applicable to the brewing process (e.g., science, engineering, occupational studies).

Strong interpersonal communication skills are required.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Master’s degree related to an area of instruction covered within the KVCC Sustainable Brewing program is strongly preferred. Experience teaching at the college-level or teaching adult learners along with experience with the development and assessment of courses and programs is desirable.
