Leverage data and marketing resources in partnership with local branch teams to employ strategies for increasing the activation of insurance-based members (community members whose Y membership is paid for by their insurance provider) and acquisition of Healthy Returns Partners (the Y’s corporate membership program). Contribute high-level strategy and on-the-ground leadership with the ultimate goal of fostering achievement, belonging, and friendship in every member served through these initiatives.

Essential Functions:

  • Act as the dedicated leader of two major membership initiatives at the YMCA of Snohomish County. Insurance-Based Membership
  • Act as the dedicated leader for the Y’s Insurance-Based Membership offering.
  • Create, propose, implement, and continuously improve activation strategies aimed at increasing the number of Insurance-Based membership units that regularly use the Y.
  • Coordinate with branch leadership teams to bolster senior-focused events and programs.
  • Partner with Marketing to create and maintain senior-focused collateral and advertising.
  • Monitor data and regularly report on success of activation strategies and overall performance of Insurance-Based Membership Program.
  • Partner with Accounting to perform periodic audits of insurance billing.
  • Maintain awareness of changes to vendor contracts, processes, and standards.
  • Partner with Marketing and local membership teams to ensure success of annual insurance re- verification efforts (when members’ insurance expires annually). Healthy Returns Partners (HRP) Program
  • Act as the dedicated leader for Healthy Returns Partners (HRP), the Y’s corporate membership program.
  • Create, propose, and implement activation strategies aimed at increasing the number of HRP members that regularly use the Y.
  • Serve as Association point person for all HRP relationships and contracts.
  • Partner with Marketing to create and maintain HRP collateral and advertising.
  • Perform inbound and outbound marketing to acquire new HRPs.
  • Ensure all elements of the HRP value proposition are made available to partners and delivered in a timely manner when requested.
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual on-sites and similar events aimed at increasing activation and engagement of HRP members.
  • Lead and contribute to continuous improvement of HRP processes.
  • Monitor data and regularly report on acquisition of new HRPs and overall program performance.
  • Create presentations, reports, and similar materials as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in membership, marketing, or sales
  • Strong personal computer skills and experience with standard business software
  • Must have strong interpersonal, public relations and communications skills
  • Ability to exercise sensitivity in dealing with individuals of diverse socio-economic backgrounds, cognitive and physical abilities as well as individuals of diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds
