Associate Director, Program and Community Management, Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship
Job Description
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, PROGAM AND COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT, Sloan School of Management-Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship, to design, lead, and implement all programs and events run by the center. Will oversee the center’s most important and visible programs and events, including the t=0 Festival of Entrepreneurship, Pozen Fellowship program, Entrepreneurship Speaker Series, delta v and Demo Days, Pitch2Match, StartMIT/Fuse, and a variety of other special events; collaborate with faculty, students, and center staff to deliver programs designed to engage MIT students across the entire campus and help them become more effective entrepreneurs; design and implement a strategic plan for the Trust Center community management rollout, iterating as appropriate, based on learnings; and liaise with internal and external organizations, student clubs, and corporate members to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree; at least three years of administrative, operations, and/or project/program management experience; excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to work effectively with others as part of a team; ability to work in an environment with ambiguity, small failures, and imperfect information; event management experience; interest in the field of entrepreneurship; strong computer and technical skills, including proficiency with MS Office and ability to learn new programs quickly; and discretion and judgment with confidential information and/or issues. Seek a self-starter who can identify problems, fix them, and take initiative in accomplishing tasks. PREFERRED: familiarity with MIT and MIT Sloan policies and procedures. Job #22050-8
Schedule may vary based on the event schedule and workload and may include working occasional evening events. May also travel domestically.
