Job Overview:

The Global Finance Operations Trainee is part of the Global Finance Operations team which is responsible for providing technical support and improvements for the Finance department.

The Trainee will join providing technical support on data management and solutions to enable IRC’s budget, forecasting and management reporting processes, and will be responsible for building data automation tools in Excel (with Power Query Editor). The Trainee will report to the Senior Data Analyst, Global Finance Operations and will work closely with other teams from across Finance and Information Technology departments to deliver/update the data automation tools (reports, templates, and models) to manage the budget and reporting requirements.

Preferred skills:

• Experience with Excel and Power Query Editor (M Language)

• Experience with data preparation and transformation

• Knowledge of relational data modelling concepts

• Knowledge of budget and forecasting process

• Ability to collaboration with team and business user to develop new reports and tools

• Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Understanding of dimensional modelling concepts

• Ability to research discrepancies in report output and user expectation
