Position Summary | Assistant Technical Director of the scientific core for the Autophagy, Inflammation, and Metabolism (AIM) NIH-funded Center of Biomedical Research Excellence, University of New Mexico Health Science Center. AIM Center is a multi-investigator high-intensity research program focused on autophagy as a fundamental mechanism and its role in a spectrum of diseases. Work Performed

Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
Preferred Qualifications | Required BA or BS with at least 2 year’s experience in a laboratory Ability to manage multiple research projects Ability to foster a collaborative and cooperative work environment Ability to provide consistent and superior service Ability to set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot technologically advanced scientific research and/or test equipment. Preferred PHD or Master’s with publication track record Familiarity with autophagy Experience with image analysis and/or flow cytometry Experience with bioinformatics analysis of large datasets |
